Berton Vineyard 'Reserve' Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2008: Coonawarra is pretty much half way between Adelaide and Melbourne and its famed Terrarossa dirt (soil) is widely regarded as the best in all of Aus. for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. This is somewhat of a dense, brooding monster to look at with abundant, powerful 'beefy' cassis, mint and eucalypyus aromas with tobacco and leafy blackcurrant on the palate - powerful stuff!!
