The name Alkoomi comes from the local aboriginal dialect and means "A place we chose". Produced from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the gravelly and loam soils of the Frankland River region of South Western Australia this wine has aromas of fresh cut grass and sweet goosberry. Crisp and fresh with lots of gooseberry fruit on the palate. The finish is long and persistent with a citrus tang.
